Chile 2010

In January, 2010 a team of M&R Managers left the cold of Connecticut behind, and flew into Santiago, Chile for 6 days of touring wineries and tasting wine. M&R Liquors has long been a fan of the wines from Chile, in fact our number 1 selling, Cabernet Sauvignon last year was from the Chilean winery, Luis Felipe Edwards. So, after landing we all boarded the bus, and drove 2 hours south to the wineries' Puquillay estate in the Colchagua Valley.

We stayed at this beautiful estate for three nights, using it as our base to visit other properties that we sell in the region. For our last night, we headed back to Santiago and on our final day, we toured another one of our best selling wineries, William Cole in the enchanting Casablanca Valley.
As it has been in the past, the hospitality of our Chilean hosts was immeasurable. We had the opportunity to taste some of the best wines of the region, paired with sumptuous meals- all in the Chilean sunshine.
