California 2011

In June 2011 a group of M & R Managers flew to the west to explore California's Central Coast. Those who did not chewck the weather before packing, were shocked to discover that the region was experiencing the coolest and wettest Spring in the last 15 years. Some winemakers worried that bud break would be affected and yields for this vintage would be lowered. Well, only time will tell... but in spite of the rain, we were impressed with the beauty of the region as well as the quality of the wines! |
